At Saint Gregory’s we do what Christians have always done. We encounter the living Lord Jesus in not only Word but also in Sacrament. In baptism we are regenerated and grafted into the body of Christ. Because of baptism he is truly with us until the end of time. In the Eucharist we feed on him who said, “the bread that I shall give is my flesh for the life of the world” (John 6:51). With these two sacraments come the whole sacramental life in Christ. Because we are in Christ, we humble ourselves in confession just like we pray for healing in the sacrament of unction, being obedient to what James taught (James 5:13-18). It is also within this context of being in Christ that Christians approach the sacraments of confirmation, Holy Matrimony and Holy Orders. By the sacraments, we live in Jesus from day to day. By the sacraments, we receive grace. Your family is always welcome here at Tradition. The heart of children's ministry at our church is to teach kids about who God is and how His word applies to their lives in creative and memorable ways. Through engaging teaching, supportive environments, and close knit small group classes, we guide kids towards a better understanding of what it means to have a real relationship with God. We want kids to know that the Bible is full of interesting stories that matter in their lives today, that fun and games are definitely allowed at church, that worship can be full of loud music and silly dancing, and that there are adults in the church who truly want to love and lead them closer to Jesus. In other words, we want them to know that where God is, life is a lot more fun! If you spend any time around our church at all, you'll quickly learn one thing: we love students. They're smart. They're funny. They're bold. And they're bursting with potential. We truly believe that the middle and high school students in our midst are world changers in the making. That's why student ministry is such a huge part of what we do at our church. We want to guide our students in developing a personal faith in Christ as they step into their specific roles in the story He's writing with their lives. We work hard to create environments that engage students in good conversation about God, encouraging them to ask questions, search out answers, and truly learn to listen to His leading in their lives. Don't worry, all the good stuff at our church isn't just for the under 18 crowd! We have plenty of engaging events and gatherings designed to build the faith and community of our adults as well. We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at one of our Sunday worship services. You can engage with others as much as you want, or remain anonymous if you prefer. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus. We have mass every Sunday and Wednesday. Parking is plentiful and we have fellowship and lessons after the service. Each month the forth Sunday is Children's Sunday, our children are activly involved in different parts of the service and the sermon is directed to them. Also, once a month we have a pot luck lunch following the service. God’s mission and the mission of His Church are inseparably linked. If God’s mission is to be glorified through the redemption and reconciliation of a people, the Church’s mission must orient around the glory of God and seek to glorify Him through redemption and reconciliation. The mission of the Church is highlighted in 2 Corinthians 5. As those who have been reconciled to God through the gospel of Jesus Christ, we are now ambassadors of reconciliation to a lost and broken world. We plead, urge, implore, reason, pray, serve, preach, teach and gather to see God glorified through reconciliation. At Tradition, this mission is best displayed in our communities, where we daily have the chance of living out the Gospel to those around us. Tradition's story is as unique as each of our own. The beautiful thing about Tradition's story is that God's grace and love are so deeply woven into the fibers of who we are that any success or prosperity we've experienced is a direct result of God's favor. We believe that all things exist and are being worked according to the triune God’s passion, pleasure and plan (Ephesians 1:11), which is the demonstration of His own intrinsic glory.
