Saint Gregory's Choir
The Parish Choir of St. Gregory the Great is an eclectic group of talented individuals who come together on a regular basis to learn and master the craft of making church music. Our literature is vast and ranges from early chant to modern literature. Although we are a volunteer choir, we offer performance opportunities, fellowship, and creative renewal within the framework of the Fine Arts. The Choir is open to anyone from Junior High on up; Church membership is not required, and new members are greeted with enthusiasm and love.
Goals
• To build a musical community at St. Gregory’s for parishioners, staff, and neighborhood residents and workers.
• To lead congregational singing, not only when singing from the gallery, but also when singing as part of the congregation.
• To offer an opportunity for a quality, part-time commitment for those seeking to be part of the musical community at St Gregory’s.
